ELECTION 2008 SHADOWBROOK AT TOWN CENTER BOARD OF DIRECTORS
SEPTEMBER 30, 2008: ELECTIONS COMPLETE Thanks to all who came to last night's Annual Meeting where elections were held for 3 open positions for the Board of Directors. Fortunately, we had just enough attendees and proxies to declare a quorum, so the results of the election are valid. Congratulations to new Board Members Scott Windish and Paul Young, and to incumbent Rob Rohloff who will continue to serve on the Board.

CANDIDATES
Robert Matelski I have lived in Shadowbrook at Town Center for almost 2 ½ years on Suwanee Avenue in one of the townhouses. Having worked in the field of Accounting and Consulting for a total of 29 years I have recently opened my own consulting firm where I have been called upon by CFO's and CEO's of major billion dollar corporations to look at the internal controls within the company. In 2007 I received my certificate in Sarbanes-Oxley which is a government compliance with internal controls with the SEC. To add to that, I am also a Gospel Recording Artist and have written songs and have recorded three CD's. Most recently I have obtained my first nationally charted song. My web site is www.robertmatelskiministry.com if you would like to read up on my ministry. I look to serve the community here at Shadowbrook with a feel for common sense, and apply an understanding as to what needs to be done and how to do that. Thank you.
Rob Rohloff I have lived in Shadowbrook for about 3 years, and have been a resident of Suwanee for 8 years. I am currently the President of the Board of Directors, having been elected to the Board in October of 2007. I have learned a lot during my time on the Board, but really feel like we were just getting started; there is so much more to do! In addition to living in a single-family home at Shadowbrook, I also own two rental townhomes here, so I have a vested interest in the success of this community. This gives me the unique perspective of seeing things through the eyes of a single-family owner, a townhome owner, a renter (via my tenants), and an investor. I am a software sales consultant for SAP and work from home when I am not travelling for business. I am also involved in our community, most recently as a member of the Suwanee 2030 Comprehensive Plan Citizen Task Force, and am a current applicant for the Planning and Zoning Commission. I am excited for the opportunity to continue to serve our great community.
Scott Windish I moved to Suwanee from Raleigh, North Carolina 3 years ago to be closer to family. My wife, Ryann and 6.5 year old Great Dane, Gatsby, have lived in the Shadowbrook community for 2.5 years. I currently work for Georgia Trust Bank, a small community bank in Buford, as a Residential Construction and Commercial Lender. I have 10 years of experience in the banking industry. I believe the contacts I have made in the construction industry and my experience evaluating financials, will be beneficial to our community. I have been diligent and vocal throughout both Board transition periods and have been constructive working with the current Board to find solutions. I have recently become Chairman of the Community Advisory Committee. This committee is still in the formation stages and will be another means to keeping the community informed. I look forward to being an active member of our Board of Directors. Thank you for your consideration.
Paul Young I have lived in Shadowbrook for about a year, I am an Atlanta native. I have been a Systems Administrator for a local automotive dealership group for 27 years. As part of my duties at work I negotiate contracts with outside vendors, manage multi-million dollar construction projects, hire landscaping, janitorial, and construction contractors. I have worked with local, state and federal government agencies on numerous occasions as a result of these projects. I feel that a strong HOA is a valuable tool in protecting the property values in our community. I also believe that the Board of Directors should be in the position of working for the community, not against it and should try to resolve concerns in a timely manner. We live in a very unique neighborhood that is on display front and center for thousands of visitors to our town. I feel that we should use that to our advantage by properly managing our properties to make Shadowbrook the most desirable neighborhood in Suwanee.
