Town Hall Meeting, Monday, March 22, 2010 @ 7PM

NOTICE: The February Board Meeting scheduled for Thursday, February 25, 2010 @ 7PM has been canceled due to a scheduling conflict for the City Hall Council Chambers with the City.

NOTICE: The March Town Hall Meeting scheduled for Thursday, March 25, 2010 @ 7PM has been moved to Monday, March 22, 2010 @ 7PM.


ABOUT BOARD MEETINGS

Shadowbrook at Town Center Board meetings are open to all members of the Shadowbrook Community Association.  Meetings are held on the fourth Thursday of each month at Suwanee City Hall, 330 Town Center Avenue, Suwanee, GA.  Meetings are held from 7:00pm to 9:00pm.  Occasionally, schedule conflicts with the library room or with Directors' availability will require us to schedule a day other than the third Tuesday of the month, so please check the website for the latest information.

The first 20 minutes at the beginning of each meeting are allocated for a "Homeowner Forum", where any homeowner can discuss topics of interest with the Board Directors.  The remaining time during the meetings are designated as "work time" for the Board to discuss relevant topics.  Homeowners are welcome to stay and listen; however, the Board respectfully requests that homeowners please refrain from asking questions or making comments during this part of the session so that the Board can get through their agenda.  The first 20 minutes are the appropriate time for homeowners to voice concerns during the meetings. 

If necessary, the Directors may break into "Executive Session" at the end of the meeting to discuss sensitive financial topics (such as homeowner delinquencies.)  To respect homeowner privacy, Executive Sessions are limited to Directors only.  Homeowners in attendance will be dismissed prior to Executive Session. 


QUARTERLY TOWN HALL MEETINGS

The meetings held on the third month of each Quarter (March, June, September, and December) are designated as Quarterly Town Hall meetings.  Though all meetings are open to residents, only the Quarterly Town Hall meetings are direct presentations to the community.  All residents are encouraged to come to these Town Hall meetings to hear the Board of Directors present the state of the community.
